Vw Polo MK2F Coupe Match model from 1994 with the 1043 engine.
I've owned the car over 8 years and have really enjoyed owning an easy to own classic with just general upkeep and maintenance since 2016. Purchased with 26k now only on 40k genuine miles.
Nicknamed Audrey, after its previous keeper, Audrey has only had two previous keepers from new. Husband purchased for his wife and sadly when he passed, ownership transferred to Audrey.
When I purchased her, she started first time after 10 months stood, but was straight to the garage where it had a full service cambelt and petrol tank to get it roadworthy and a fresh MOT.
Each year its always got what it needed for it's mot thankfully always just minor wear and tear items and always had an oil and filter service when MOT was carried out, but sadly no proof of this as was all done at an independent garage.
This will be the most basic modern classic you can have, no power steering, no ABS, wind up windows, no cigarette lighter and pull out cassette player but all adds to the element of owning a classic.
I only run the car on super unleaded.
She always starts first time, runs well, whether a small journey or daily commute always just keeps going.
Bodywork is in good condition, has had sills done a few years ago and protected with stone guard under the black mouldings.
rust is starting to show on both doors at the bottom.
Also some rust showing on front wing and near petrol cap.
Bodywork has other general marks, some sun fade to roof and some minor lacquer peel to bonnet but overall for 30 years old really cleans up well.
Inside has a colourful interior suited to a 1990's special edition, this has a few marks on front seats, backs have rarely been used.
Mot was done in June this year, Will be due a small Service.
The car has varuios amounts of paperwork from including original bill or sale from Trust motors Leeds where it still returns its original dealer plates from.
Overall a great car which I've enjoyed owning and only selling as another classic Volkswagen is taking its place.

The last 4 years its not been used in Winter. Kept under car port when not in use.
I saved the car from the previous keepers drive after sadly no longer being able to drive a car without power steering and have loved driving her ever since.
I've replaced the cambelt twice throughout ownership, once is 2016 when purchased and again in 2022 bills to prove.
Mileage is a genuine 40k and will continue to rise until Sold.
