Really nice 1954 Austin A40 Somerset
1, 2 engine with upgrade SU carburetor
4 speed manual gears
surprisingly sprightly
4 door
in Blue/ grey with very decent bodywork & nice clean tidy interior
Starts very well , drives great, keeps up with modern traffic, brakes well
I am an old car car nut & as such use them daily, so I don't buy junk,
just good honest classics
Recently had carb rebuild and set up, new electronic ignition, cap, leads, coin, multi-point plugs etc etc
I use 3 or 4 days a week locally and I have done a few longer runs,
with no issues, overall very nice clean, presentable & usable classic
A lot better than many I viewed, so good I've owned this car twice.
NO MOT & NO TAX required as it's classed as historic
I am open to a part exchange of another car or motorcycle (classic/ historic)
or possibly a convertible of some sort
