Mercedes W123 300 Diesel Auto - Registered Mercedes Owners' Club car.
First registered 1. 8. 24, 4 total owners, myself being the 4th. The first two owners were the Williams family, and this car was a special order by them to have metallic paint, automatic, sunroof and many other extras on the data card, supplied by Continental Cars of Cardiff. Their sticker is still on the rear window!
I acquired this car 1. 3. 12 and it was SORN on 1. 9. 13 around the time my wife became terminally ill. This car was then dry stored along with my other classic Mercedes until I was in the frame of mind to complete a restoration with photo evidence supplied.
This car has had a total respray - 4 new wings. The engine out, boot lining out and all windows out with the rubber replaced.
Car was put through MOT following the body work to know what to recommission on the mechanical side. All work completed with only Mercedes parts unless they were completely unavailable. The car passed MOT on 31. 1. 24 without any advisories. With a fully detailed engine bay this pretty W123 is in top condition with an immaculate (not worn) interior. I have added chrome wind screen wipers and water sprays. There are 4 new Avon tyres, 5 new heater plugs, total gearbox overhaul, seals / gasket etc.
This W123 is now ready for an around the world tour with boring reliability!
Viewing will certainly not be a disappointment and can be driven anywhere in purchase and within reason I would consider delivery.
Reluctant sale but I need to reduce my collection - will probably regret!
