Description
I'm reluctantly selling a 1975 Range Rover suffix C, because I'm going abroad. Excellent 4l engine (rpi engineering) low mileage (less than 500km). Edelbrock 4-body carburettor. Bought for 6500 euros at the time. Possibility of standard exchange with a reconditioned vintage 3L5 Stromberg. White leather interior. Vintage aluminium wheels. Koni front shock absorbers, Bilstein rear shock absorbers. Stainless steel exhaust system. Brake system to be reviewed. Corrosion on the underbody (nothing serious). In fairly good condition for its age, but still needs to be serviced. A mechanic (my daughter's friend) put the rear springs in the front and vice versa... Minor paintwork defects. Minor paintwork defects, no roadworthiness test. No major work required, but a lot of small things, especially inside (roof lining).
It is in a specialised garage in Ardèche and is likely to be put back on its feet and pass its technical inspection, so the price offered is "as is". Don't hesitate to make me an offer (if possible a serious one if you want an answer). To take away on a platter. Inherited it from my older brother to whom I exchanged it for a website (in 2007). I had the choice between this or a mercedes. (Did I make the right choice?...). It's not really what you'd call an "original model", and unfortunately I didn't drive it much. It was immobilised for a long time, but it could be a good basis for restoration. The engine hasn't run much, but can't be considered as new.
