Description
This is a very nice example of the Triumph TR4A in an attractive red. The car comes with a Surrey Top and Hard Top, the Surrey Top is removable and folds up into the boot. The bodywork is in very good condition with no rust and no damage. The car has a 4-speed gearbox and overdrive.
The interior is original except for a wood rim steering wheel and all neat and tidy. The original wheel is included.
Under the bonnet the engine flywheel has been lightened and the flywheel and crankshaft balanced and a Kent fast road cam added, the cylinder head has been gas flowed. The exhaust is a free flow stainless steel 4-branch with wrapped insulated branches. The mechanical fuel pump has been replaced by a German electric pump and an electric cooling fan installed. The battery has recently been replaced and an electronic battery isolator installed.
The underside of the bonnet has been repainted as well as the boot floor. Panels have been added to contain the jack in the boot.
The underside of the car is solid. see photos of the underside. The springs have all been renewed and there are adjustable shocks on all corners. Tyres are in very good condition wire wheels are clean but have a little corrosion.
The car is not getting used as I have another classic so better for some else to enjoy. The car is lively and a pleasure to drive.
