The Car is Garaged. The XK8 (XK100) 4. 2-S special edition or commonly referred to as The Last Edition or Final Edition model and was unveiled on March 1st 2005 at the Geneva International Salon. This car was among the last XK100 models to be produced by Jaguar Cars at its Browns Lane Plant in Coventry in 2005.
Inside, the Interior is unique to the 4. 2-S model, trimmed with soft grain Ivory leather with contrasting black stitching. (Only ‘S’ models came with straight stitching on the seats rather than the curved finish on the standard cars, so something to look out for!) In recognition of Jaguar’s racing heritage, special badging and accents adorn this Special Edition XKR-S. This is a private sale. I acquired the car in June 2017 and have done only 5, 000 miles since. However, each one of those miles has been exhilarating. I have changed the oil every year and she has been serviced and MOT regularly. Sad to see her go, but hopefully moving on to an E-Type next.
