TRIUMPH STAG MK1 AUTO –

Well sadly I am now having to sell my wonderful Triumph Stag which I love driving so much, especially with that fantastic Triumph v8 burble. Getting in and out of it has really started to get much harder due to health issues.
Anyway to the car as I said engine and auto gearbox wise it starts and drives as only a Triumph Stag can with its V8 burble.
However make no mistake it looks great in the photos but it is definitely a 10 foot car as the paintwork looks great from a distance, but needs a bit of work if it’s a show car you are after. I might be a bit harsh with this but better to inform you of this.
It has had over £4, 000 spent in the last few months with a new steering rack fitted and a full (Lanoguard) underseal being completed after any welding required had been completed, so underside is great.
Also had a StagWeber header tank with low coolant alarm fitted.
I also had a reversing camera with a monitor fitted in the glovebox.
New rubber seals were fitted front and rear of the hardtop but for some reason can still let in rain so perhaps someone who is hands on could look into this. Rear bottom chrome strip and left and right Zed chromes are off but are present and can be refitted.
The soft top frame with cover is a1 and stored in my garage under cover, but the hood frame requires a bar straightening and refitting, with a full set of bolts washers and nuts which were purchased to overhaul the frame. So again a little job to do which I would have done if not for my health.
Some bulbs have been changed to LED.
Interior wise it needs someone who can spend time doing some detailing as again I can’t do it now. Slight tare in the drivers seat base.
Carpets replaced a couple of years ago.
So to sum up, it looks great from a distance and starts and drives superbly, so a great car to drive and be noticed in, just as in the James Bond film.
But seriously it’s great when people in the street tell you that you have a great car.
The private registration plates do not go with the sale but can be purchased separately if required, please ask! (The Original no plate is BPA246K)

Please no silly offers as I have heard it all before, so I’m just looking for a straight sensible cash sale if possible.
But I would consider another easy to get in and out of and live with CLASSIC CAR !!!!!
