Description
The Aermacchi Ala d'oro 250 is in perfect cycling and mechanical condition. The motorbike does not require any restoration work as it is a track bike and can only and exclusively be used on the track. The components have been cleaned and preserved in an excellent manner. The original 1965 airbrush is also present. The Aermacchi Ala d'oro is entered in the Aermacchi historic register under number 131054. The motorbike has had 3 owners. According to its history, the motorbike originally belonged to a famous motorbike racer of the 1950s. The name has never been revealed. The second owner, Giancarlo Baldoni, bought it from this rider in impeccable condition. The latter eventually sold it to me by private treaty. What makes this motorbike unique is that it has actually participated in world championship races.
