Absolutely mint condition 1999 Viper RT10 with 6000 miles and all the paperwork. It’s been in the UK from new and was first registered with V1PER number plate!
This is 1999 model year car with last of the forged piston engines (loved by tuners for big power turbo or superchargers) Bought into the country brand new as a Christmas present to himself with V1PER plate. I have all the paperwork, build sheet, manuals etc. I bought off the second owner who got it from Oldcott Motors. Hard and soft tops. Factory everything and the original polished alloy wheels too. Part of my pampered collection for 12 years.
All maintenance has been done by myself as I’m a hands on retired professional technician, I also belong to various car clubs including the Viper club Uk and stateside.
Recent MOT where I changed all of the drop links as the boots had split but all other components underneath are mint with minimal signs of wear. Front tyres are brand new and rears are 7 years on the car.
A full service has been carried out using new old stock components (the best!) Mopar where possible. I changed the panel air filters to K&N but haven’t fitted smooth tube intakes. I have fitted a front tow loop but never needed it!
Underneath is immaculate and the inside of the wheels, wells and suspension arms etc are pristine.
I have a full DVD workshop manual as the Dodge techs were given.
I also have a European gen 1 side pipe Viper which makes this gen 2 feel like a Rolls Royce!
Gen 2 vipers had significant upgrades over the Gen 1 including airbags, air con, power locks, electric windows, alloy suspension and 50 extra bhp (very easy to tune)….. they did delete side pipes though ☹️.
I keep it in a controlled environment and exercise the mechanicals by spinning up the oil pressure without the fuel pump relays.
It shows 9000 kms as it’s a Canadian car. I’ll post the window sticker build sheet in the pictures.
I’ve posted a video of the car starting from cold and forgot clutch down to start! The instruments all function correctly with no faults shown on the computer. Emissions are perfect as it has the full factory catalytic system.
In my opinion the Vipers are still a bargain waiting to go stratospheric! (Influencers are starting to give them further cult status!)
This has not been on the show circuit so if it were to stay in the UK it’s your car not so and so’s old car!
Very reluctant sale but after owning it for 12 years it’s time to pass it on.
