Sadly having to sell Hilda, our Danbury T2 which we've had since 2020 due to funding a house move. With only 20, 000km on the clock and always being stored indoors she is in excellent condition and has always been very well maintained.
The bodywork and interior are excellent and everything works as it should. There's some slight sun fading on the sides of the purple seats, but that's really about it.
This is a very high specification Danbury model which includes the following features:
- Electric power steering
- Right hand drive
- Infotainment system with sat-nav and reversing camera
- Upgraded Danbury steering wheel
- Interior door cards and seats trimmed in purple
- White mirrors and bumpers
- Spare wheel carrier
- Webasto night heater (runs off the fuel in the main fuel tank)
- Full width bed
- Pop top for extra space or sleeping
- Buddy seat and removable cabinet
- Removable carpet throughout
- We upgraded the curtains because the standard Danbury ones are terrible
- Leisure battery with 240v mains hookup. When connected to mains, the leisure battery is charged and the 240v sockets are available. Leisure battery is also charged when engine is running.
All 12v electrics for lighting, heater, fridge etc.
- Three point seatbelts for the outer rear and front seats, lap belt for the middle.
Maintenance wise she has been serviced every year and had a timing belt in 2022. Never driven in the salt, and rarely driven in the wet so the bodywork is in great condition. Of course being a later model, this has the modern 1. 4 litre water cooled straight 4 engine, which gives surprisingly good fuel economy.
There is an inflatable awning supplied with the van, but I've never tried it for fear of never getting it back in the bag again!
MOT until July 2025. Both keys are present, and so is the V5 and all instructions/ documents/ service booklet. I also found the original roof rack which came with the van, it's now fitted and will be included in the sale. We bought this van in 2020 in order for the family to go on trips, which she has been perfect at doing. The memory foam mattress topper makes for a very comfortable night' sleep, and the night heater blows warm air straight at your feet when wanted, so it's actually better than sleeping at home! The fridge can be used when on the move since the engine keeps the leisure battery topped up, so it keeps your drinks and food cool for the trip. The pop top provides much needed extra storage pace for when you're parked, and gives ample headroom while cooking or washing up. Driving wise, she will do 70mph happily but these vans encourage a relaxed driving style so this sort of speed feels unnecessary! The seats are also very comfortable.
