Description
1969 Citroen ID20 manual finished in Bleu Andalou with a metallic grey roof and grey cloth interior, with an original 41800 km from new, that's 26, 000 miles. In her old age it's nice to have the carburetor and manual gearbox, keeps it simple. I purchased the car back in 2014 from Garage de L'Est BV in the Netherlands who had purchased the car back in 2007 from the original owners widow, they kept it in their own private collection and only sold to me due to their advancing years. The car is all original and totally unmolested, impossible I would think to find another like this. Totally rust free (Dinitrol treated from new) with 90% of the paint being original, had a major service with Leycroft of Worcester at 41320 km and an Mot.
The car was built at the Belgium assembly plant, so has the stainless door handles, triumpets and large hub caps, along with power steering, which is the same spec as the French built Ds, which lacks quality control compared to the Belgium built cars
'Timewarp condition' is a much abused term in classic car circles, but my car fully justifies the term and must surely be one of the finest original low mileage examples you could ever wish to find.
