Up for sale here is my 2000 w - reg MERCEDES CLK 55 AMG V8 DESIGNO EDITION.. this car has been my pride & joy for nearly 2 years, I’ve done over 7000 happy miles in the car smiled from ear to ear in every mile, the car starts 1st turn of the key no warning lights, no unwanted nocks, gear change is nice through all gears, the performance as amazing but also the car cruises along the road brilliantly, I done the north coast 500 last year and was averaging over 30 mile to the gallon which is amazing.. anyway moving on the bodywork is very nice practically rot free, lovely shine of it azura blue coachwork, interior is clean also with its matching two tone leather upholstery, comes with Bluetooth handsfree, cd multichanger, sat nav, cruise control, elec heated massage memory seats, elec mirrors windows & sunroof the list goes on.. I have replaced the standard 5 spoke amg 17 inch wheels with 18inch monoblock amg slab wheels with brand new good tyres all round, I also have had a back box delete to a stainless exhaust which sounds fantastic, I also have the original that will go with the car. I have replaced the rear brakes recently & also had new brake pipes from mid to rear the car has just turned 120, 000 miles which is low for the age, moted until mid July with no advisories. Comes with lots of bills reciepts mainly from Mercedes lots of old mots and handbooks service book last service being 113000.. now please bare in mind the car is 24 years old it does have some niggles not bad but will list below
One of the belt pulleys is very slightly noisey, its been like this since I’ve owned it, I just haven’t got round to changing it, front bumper has a crack at lower lip on each side, blame the wife for this parking at local Asda & misjudged a low lying rubber bollard, there are some stone chips at the front of the car, & 2 minor rust blemishes one on bottle of drivers front wing to small for camera to pick up, and 1 on drivers door as seen in pic & video..
This car has been my pride in joy throughout my ownership & its previous owners, it’s a stunning looking & sounding car which drives faultlessly, I will be sorry to see it go to be honest but loss of storage is forcing sale
