Description
Singer 4AC Bantam Roadster. Re sprayed in original green colour, engine recently completely over hauled. Tonneau and hood in very good order. The 4AC was a special prototype run and 4AC cars do not come up for sale very often. It was first registered in 1952. The first owner was a retired Royal Navy Commander, he bought the car from Car Sales (Plymouth) Ltd. but lived in Kingsbridge, Devon. In 1964 the car was sold and went to Liskard in Cornwall but in 1969 was sold again and came to Torquay.
I bought the car in March 1972 in fact it was our every day car when we first got married. The car still has the original 1200 cc engine which has had a rebore and oversize pistons fitted, the crankshaft was also reground etc. This car is valued by Hagerty based on auction sales etc at £8100 to £10000. Please contact me if you would like to purchase, view the car or for more information.
