I have owned this M3 since June 2021, which I managed to acquire following a lengthy search for a manual - sunroof optioned car which proved to be difficult to find at the time. If you are looking at this E46 then you will no doubt be well versed in this iteration of the M3 and you will be pleased to know that the boot floor has been checked and repaired following the discovery of cracks.
I had the car checked and repaired by renowned BMW specialist JWS Developments based in Chesterfield along with some other more minor repairs including the install of a stainless steel clutch pin which helped with selecting gears at low speed. The repair was carried out in Autumn 2021 and I have the itemised invoice to verify the work. Moreover, a prior owner had the Vanos overhauled in October 2014 at 91, 234 miles and this work is also substantiated with paperwork from 'Garage 786 Ltd' in Leicester. You will note the service history shown in the photo section and this history is further backed up by receipts spanning the last decade. The wheels are the smaller 18" standard option finished in original shadow chrome as intended by BMW and I had Michelin PS-5 tyres fitted around 4-5k ago. I also have the 19" wheels which could be sold with the car subject to further discussion.
Notable faults: badges faded, HK Audio sometimes crackles, advisory for rear brake lines on MOT, the diff can be noisy on a tight turn, drivers door pin does not rise with remote unlock, new actuator required, auto dimming rear view mirror has failed and needs a repair which is approx. GBP100, dashboard oil temperature sensor has failed which wants to be replaced at the same time as an oil change, some LCD cells have failed in the original satnav unit which is not unusual.
Other positives not mentioned above - body and paint in very good condition relative to other examples of this era, recent new clutch fitted, no modifications at all, no rips to the leather interior. Based in Leeds, West Yorkshire - the car can be viewed in Leeds city centre by prior arrangement to fit in with train travel etc..
