June 1974 Right Hand Drive Beetle Cabriolet. 1303S
One family owned for the last 15 years. Massive mechanical overhaul as part of ongoing rebuild project. Includes:
Replacement Engine 2021 (VW Engine Company UK) - Original block and reground crank but from then on upwards all new components. Barrels, Pistons Cylinder Heads, Valves, Oil Cooler, Clutch complete, Inlet Manifold, Exhaust. Less than 1, 000 covered since fitting.
Gearbox completely reconditioned (Limebug)
New drive shafts, Rear Shocks, Front shocks. New steering box and all steering linkages including damper. New Lower suspension arms. Essentially a New Front end.
New Master Cylinder and all brake pipes including Flexi's.
Electronic Ignition and high output Coil - Runs beautifully.
Bootlid and Bonnet repainted to very high standard. Other bodywork (Not Original) but in good order.
New Side Rails/ Running Boards. New door Cards.
Next steps were to be Interior finish and Hood Headlining (Supplied with Vehicle) . Priced accordingly in comparison to fully restored versions. Outside Hood is Canvas and in very good watertight order. Loads more picture of the work carried out if requested. Sensible offers will be considered
