1972 B. S. A. Thunderbolt MGY 803L Purchased 17. 10. 2012 from Northants Classic Bikes. Seven former keepers. Historic bike with MOT and R. F. L. exemption. Fourteen previous MOT certs. from before they were not required.
14. 04. 2015 Top End overhaul.- cylinders re-bored, new pistons, new rings and valve springs and guides bored and sleeved, new speedo bracket, fuel taps, clutch springs and fuel tank treated with "Flowliner" ethanol resistant tank seal
09. 07. 2016 New Carburettor, Timing, Plugs and Cable
17. 09. 2016. New Coils and Leads
06. 08. 2016. New Rectifier fitted
09. 12. 2016. Pazon electronic Ignition fitted and timing set.
14. 01. 2016. New bolt - Cylinder head oil leak
11. 07. 2019. New Clutch and Gearbox output Seals fitted.
15. 06. 2021. Both Wheels Rimmed and Spoked. Front drum skimmed and new Clock rubber fitted.
22. 02. 2023. Strip down bike, Powdercoat Frame and re-build with new Wiring Loom.
07. 01. 2023. Spitfire Fuel Catalyst (stops bad effect of Ethanol) added to tank. Guaranteed 100, 000 miles or ten years. Can use E10 fuel.

01. 2024. Fuel Tank re-sprayed and Gold lined by hand. Two new cone shaped silencers fitted.
30. 08. 2024 New Vertex 12 volt Battery fitted. The motorcycle is in excellent condition and fun to ride. One of the last to come out of Small Heath Birmingham. I have all invoices and receipts for work carried out over the years.
