One for the Collector - mint cherished and correct 1975 Norton Commando 850 MK3 - VERY original. 6100 recorded miles - believed genuine. Originally purchased from Elite Motors, Tooting (dealer sticker on rear mudguard) - full ownership history. Completely overhauled and recommissioned by previous fastidious owner in 2020 after 14 years in his storage.
Work documented in detail included re-laced rims with polished hubs and stainless spokes, new Dunlop TT100 tyres, rebuilt brake cylinders and callipers, rebuilt forks, carburettors overhauled, new speedo drive, new seat and stainless fasteners throughout.
The majority of the components are believed to be original and in immaculate condition. The paintwork to the tank and side panels is all original and still retains it's factory fresh lustre.
All replacement parts purchased from Andover Norton and stainless fasteners from Middletons.
The bike is highly correct apart from peashooter silencers that replace the annular discharge silencers that it would have been supplied with when new and slightly lower handlebars (original handlebars included).
The electric start works as it should - the bike is a very easy starter by either kick or electric.
Included are numerous spare parts, tools & workshop manuals.
I have the provenance to substantiate the above description with a copy of the factory dispatch records and a record of all previous owners (9).

The machine is taxed as a Historic Vehicle so no MOT or Vehicle Tax is applicable. This must be one of the most original and correct Commando 850 MK3's out there. Thick history file with all previous owner details and bills for parts and services. I bought it on it's condition in 2021 to add to my collection but it is now time to part company as I'm not using it as much as I would like to / it deserves!
