Description

An opportunity to own my superb Rover 75.
Been my car for 6 years. In absolutely superb condition. Super smooth V6 and silky auto box with hill decent that works exactly as it should. It drives in a way a modern car simply cannot match. No warning lights ar faults at all. No fluid leaks or knocks or creaks of any description. Temperature gauge stays perfectly in the middle even in hottest of Mediterranean weather. Air conditioning is ice cold. To keep it simple EVERYTHING works exactly as it did when it left Longbridge. Full service history with recent service by MG Rover specialist. ALL work on this car has been carried out regardless of cost only by Rover specialists, (Signature Auto Care of Preston, whilst in my ownership). All 3 belts have been done. The usual area of corrosion problems near rear jacking points has been addressed by repairing with approved sections. This car has only ever been run on E5 petrol and NEVER supermarket fuel. When I bought the car, I fitted the beautiful "Y spoke" alloys obtained from Rimmer Bros. I then fitted winter tyres to the Connoisseur wheels and fit these during the winter months. The alloys have never seen use in winter and as a result are flawlessly perfect with no kerbing damage or brake dust pitting. I also purchased what I'm told is the last new one of these wheels so I have spare "Y" spokes in case one breaks loose. All 8 tyres are only lightly worn and have lots of tread left. The car is fitted with thick custom made lambswool overmats. The interior is in very good condition with only minor wear to the driver's seat which I have detailed in photograph. However, I have a brand new set of original Rover leather seat covers which can be fitted to make the interior as good as brand new. I have kept a detailed diary of all work undertaken to the car whilst in my ownership. The car is a regular at Pride of Longbridge and other Rover gatherings. I am a Rover enthusiast and only selling my car because of illness and early retirement. I have never used this car for short journeys but always use it for long International trips or frequent runs to Heathrow where I know I need a car that will never let me down. I am selling the car for £4, 000 but I would sell it for £3, 500 without the winter wheels and replacement leather seats as I could easily sell these on for much more than £500. If you know these cars, you will know £4000 is a fair price and a good financial investment as it will only ever be worth more than you pay me for it. There are much cheaper Rover 75's out there but they are not as good as mine.

Thank you.
