Description
Aston Martin DB7 Vantage
2001, Y-REG
Genuine 25, 500 miles
Pentland Green (stunning dark green colour, looks black in certain light)
Forest Green and Parchment leather interior.
Fawn suede headlining.
Touchtronic semi-automatic gearbox.
Owned by me for the last 10 yrs
Covering approximately 3, 000 miles in that time.
Recently recommissioned after a 5-year lay-up and has now had both heater matrix's replaced (expensive & laborious job) along with the air conditioning system overhauled.
Everything works – the leather interior still smells wonderful too!
Heavily factory optioned car:
- Factory Sat Nav
- Factory sports exhaust (large bore)
- Factory rear wash / wipe (extremely rare option)
- Mesh grill
- Drilled pedals
- Reverse parking sensors
- Fire extinguisher
- Umbrella holder and logo'd Aston Martin umbrella
- Chromatic auto dip rear view mirror (incorporating external temp gauge and compass direction)
- Aston Martin gloves -should you ever need to be hands-on with the car
In my custodianship, the vehicle has been serviced & maintained by Bridge Mill Motors (Now called A M Performance) in Macclesfield. The staff there are ex-Aston works staff.
Recent replacement of coil packs and plugs as it was intermittently misfiring on one cylinder – it now runs perfectly and feels wonderful.
The front valance has recently been repainted to eradicate the stone chips and a graze to make it perfect, commensurate with the paint on the rest of the car.
There is no rust on the car at all.
All of the alloys are near perfect and the Bridgestone SO2 tyres are in excellent order with no cracking (but are a little old).
The car wants for nothing.
This is a stunning example of how an unmolested DB7 should look and drive.
The car has been dry-ice cleaned underneath and treated with Boeshield T-9 in the wheel wells to prevent any corrosion. The car is stored under a bespoke cover in my unit away from any UV light and, of course, warmed up properly and driven sympathetically.
It has just been used for weekends away, as and when work has permitted.
I am the 4th owner of the car and never intended on selling it, but a change of business circumstances means this and a couple of other cars have to go.
It is a stunning vehicle and oh so subtle compared to modern sporty offerings.
This is not your usual tired DB7, if you really want a DB7 vantage - this is the one to have!
