1958 MGA roadster.
A very nice older restoration. This car was imported from the U. K. in 1988 and has seen little use since and was in dry storage for many years and has had only one registered owner here .
The body is very tidy with some small chips and dents but as an older restoration it makes the car more usable .
The car had an extensive mechanical recommissioning last year 2023 with over ten thousand in receipts on file . The car received a rebuilt cylinder head , new brakes , a new dynamo , new starter motor , heater repairs , battery , a new combined oil pressure and water temperature gauge all oils , filters and much more .
The canvas hood is free of any damage though slightly faded and the side screens are present and intact .
It starts readily has excellent oil pressure , does not overheat and it stops , steers and handles very nicely.
MGA’s are always a pleasure to drive and this one is the nicest I have driven.
A very usable , honest and reliable car . There is little history prior to 1988 .
The car was imported and sold in Ireland by a well known MG specialist who is now retired, the car was sold by him 36 years ago to a Doctor in Kilkenny who is still currently the only registered keeper in Ireland since import .
The car was restored in the U. K. and has done very little mileage since .
