Description
This lovely little BSA Bantam D1 Battery model is a great way to get into classic motorcycles! Being the D1, this example features its original 125cc engine, making it CBT compatible (legally rideable on just L plates) so if you've always wanted a classic but never had a bike licence, all you need is to do your CBT and you can ride this little beauty. Being a 1963 this is one of the last D1's available and is an original 'battery' model, meaning it has its own 6V battery instead of the usual direct electric system found on most Bantams. The bike has spent many years in a private collection amongst many other British motorcycles and has been kept rust and corrosion free. It kicks over very easily and starts, rides, runs and smells great as a two stroke should. It is completely standard with its plunger frame and engine numbers matching to its original old style logbook, as well as its first logbook it also has a new style logbook of course meaning it is registered for the road. This example even has the rare leg guard option which isn't seen on many Bantams anymore. If you would like to know anything else about this bike then please call the details below. Nationwide delivery and finance is available on this motorcycle.
