We are pleased to offer for sale on behalf of a client, this exceptionally unique 1955 Rolls Royce Silver Dawn.

Chassis number SVJ59. Originally delivered in April 1955 to Mr H. L Waddington, this vehicle has had six previous owners.
The vehicle was purchased by its current owner in March 2009 from P&A Wood.
Harvey Wash Ltd have prepared and maintained the vehicle for rallying for the past 15 years and the current owner has used the vehicle for multiple long-distance rallies, including:

The vehicle has proven itself to be comfortable and very reliable.
Modifications include:
• Uprated suspension springs.
• Additional gearbox oil cooler.
• Heavy duty undertrays.
• Pressurised cooling and additional electric fans.
• Heavy duty 4x4 type tyres.
• Harvey Bailey anti roll bars.
The vehicle has been maintained in our workshop and has been modified and checked to suit each rally, dependant on the rally specifications and rules.
Mileage is currently showing 16, 849 miles.
The engine is a standard 4566cc, 6 cylinder with single carburettor, combined with 4-speed automatic gearbox. Brakes are standard drums all round with mechanical brake servo.
After a few years in storage the vehicle has received a mild recommission to return to vehicle to the road. We can, in our workshops, arrange to have further rally preparations carried out or assist a new owner in returning the vehicle to standard.
This is an excellent opportunity to acquire a well campaigned, reliable vehicle which is suitable for further classic rallies. Or, if the new owner desires, all standard parts are included to return the vehicle back to original specification.
