Saab 96 Monte Carlo 850cc 1966 . This Saab was imported from New Mexico in 2004 to the UK where it underwent an extensive restoration . Having spent its early life in a hot dry climate the body had suffered very little corrosion .
The Monte Carlo retains all the wonderful details that made it the 96 two-stroke to have . The engine is the correct oil injected Monte Carlo engine , and we drove it to the SAABFEST at Prescott [160 mile trip ] and it drove extremely well . A very capable car which more than keeps up with modern traffic and attracts a lot of interest .
