1969 Deluxe Microbus
This lovely deluxe microbus was imported from the States around 15 years ago. It was the most solid bus the importer had seen and was snapped up by the previous owner who carried out a sympathetic restoration and camper conversion. It has been lowered on narrowed king and link beam up front and adjustable spring plates at the rear. The 1600sp engine and 4 speed ‘box run faultlessly and the servo assisted brakes are amazing. Inside the bespoke camping interior there is a rock’n’roll bed, loads of storage, a gas hob and some 12V/ USB outlets as well as a brand new diesel heater for all year round camping. We’ve had ‘Gertie’ for nine years and enjoyed many family camping trips as well as visiting shows along the way. Gertie always attracts admirers (and awards) and I’m sure will for many years to come.
