Description
E-Type replica (not an original Jaguar!) CCC Challenger, built in approx. 250 units with Jaguar's blessing and parts. The basis was an S1 E-Type. The history can easily be found on the Internet: early vehicle with Ford technology, many documents on the history. First registration in England, then to Ireland, export to Germany. Delta racing engine with 160 hp (it is said to have been incredibly fast), based on a Ford Essex V6 engine. Derek John Robinson, the builder who can also be found on the Internet, is registered as the first owner.
The vehicle has been dry in a showroom for 25 years and was parked in working order at the time. The engine is now running (like a kitten). The vehicle looks good, but still needs some work before it can be operated.
There are English papers. Registration in England should be very easy. The vehicle may have to be cleared through customs again when transported to England because it was 'permanently exported' at the time. German registration is conceivable. There is an old certificate, but it is no longer valid because it was not registered at the time. A current todo list and a contact to a TÜV inspector can be arranged. The vehicle is a real classic car, visually impressive, but impresses with its simpler and more manageable technology. A hardtop is also available If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.
As I can't see how to change the information above, here are a few corrections: -the colour is blue metallic -the mileage is 36797 and can also be traced by the old 'vehicle test certificates' -the currently installed and registered engine is a Delta Ford Essex 3l racing engine and does not correspond to the type plate
