2024 Gilbern Concours Winning Car.
What I've done in last 5 years:
Wheels, all 5 refurbed, painted, diamond cut and lacquered, new toyo tyres fitted and new inner tubes. New centre caps and gel 'G' badges. New chrome nuts.
Brakes, braided hoses front and rear, new master and slave cylinder, new brake servo booster.
Front: new grooved discs, new calipers, new pads
Rear: new drums, new shoes and internal pieces replaced, new star wheels sourced aswell!
Handbrake sort of works, have new cable just needs fitting.
Clutch, new master and slave cylinder and branded hoses.
Gearbox, 4 speed manual with overdrive in 3rd and 4th.
Chassis, main chassis rails were rusted and have been replaced. No other structural rust issues.
Suspension, new adjustable avo shocks and springs fitted all round and all bushes have been replaced.
Fuel system, I've had a new custom aluminium fuel tank made and fitted, new fuel sender. New fuel lines and a fuel return line fitted. New webcon electric fuel pump and cutoff switch.
The fuel sender and gauge need calibrating, at the moment if you have a full tank it only reads half full on the gauge.
Engine, old engine was leaking so replaced with another second hand engine from Cortina Savage, runs well, new Manilfow exhaust manifolds fitted, car came with a stainless steel exhaust with only 1 silencer, its quite loud.
New 38dgms carb and lynx ramflo airfilter.
New acuspark, dizzy, coil and leads, new spark plugs, new battery, new alloy radiator off a capri 3. 0S and new rubber coolant hoses. New electric radiator fan.
Also had alloy timing gear fitted. Engine is leaded.
New starter motor and alternator.
Lights, all lights work and all have new bulbs, also fitted new lucas spotlights to front.
New washer bottle and wipers fitted.
Interior, removed old carpet and insulation, have replaced all insulation with dynamat and recarpeted. Retrimmed driver door cards. Fitted new alicantra steering wheel, still have original wheel aswell. Car has original headlining and the dash is still original veneer. The clock doesn't work on dash. New cobra bucket seats Fitted as originals needs retrimming, still have these and will be included in sale.
Electric windows work.
Replaced both door locks as I didn't have a key for originals, drivers door doesn't lock as the mechanism needs adjusting.
No key for boot lid, bootlid also needs gas struts.
Removed the heater matrix as it was rotten so Car has no heater at present. Still have original included in sale.
Got several MOTs recently since my ownership if you want to check online.
Body work is the main issue as the gel coat needs coming off and redoing. Car is the only estate that came in Lamborghini Miura Green so it is a 1 of 1 car!Car runs great and turns heads everywhere it goes. I've spent lots of money on the mechanicals now it just needs someone to put some love into the bodywork and finish off a few odd jobs.
