A delightful, elegant and stylish colour scheme - Black piant with Tan hides and bone steering wheel with nicely trimmed bound black carpets.
Recent attentions to the carburettors, that have been fully overhauled and all brakes renewed - (cylinders and shoes) only a month ago. The front suspension also has been upgraded to black polybushes (Polyurethane) to give more direct , sporty and controlled 'feel' when enjoying the car.
Wheels and tyres are in excellent condition as are the chromes. There is gentle patina and a comprehensive history file which proves this cars genuine originality.
The history file contains a detailed/ documented record of its care over the last 30 years or so and the original supplied log book and other historic documents. I have included photos of the signifant documents and manuals in the file including its original ‘Buff’ log book.
The past engine rebuild by MG specialist included a rebore to 1300cc and fitment of unleaded valve seats.
Hood and tonneau cover have been renewed in the last few years and are in extremely good condition.

From the history file, it states the car was first registered to Mr A Davidson on 16thJanuary 1954 in Sanderstead Surrey and had 3 more owners till the last owner took over the car car in August 1987 at 44442 miles. Through this owners investigations, he determined the car is still to its original spec and is 'numbers matching' mechanically. Interestingly, he also gives the definition of the chassis number as follows:
