1989 MG Metro van. Clearly an MG Metro hatchback which has been converted to a van with the correct side panels.
Good bits - recently refurbished front calipers and new hoses, 4 matching tyres with plenty of tread on Mk1 MG Metro wheels, genuine MG engine, ply-lined in rear, body panels all good, engine and gearbox drive fine.
Not so good bits - looks very respectable from 10 paces, but paint has some blistering, especially on roof and van panels. Small area of corrosion on o/ s roof seam. Some bubbling on o/ s/ r valance although feels firm enough with heavy thumb pressure! Blowing exhaust (downpipe joint or manifold gasket, not sure which) and handbrake cable needs replacing hence no MOT.
