1968 Jaguar E-Type Series 1 OTS

This Series 1. 5 E Type in Old English White had a top to bottom engine rebuild in 2024 by E Type UK costing in excess of £55, 000. It also has new 6” S/ S wheels shod with Brockley tyres, I have retained the original wheels and tyres. The chassis and underside of the car is in excellent condition, as is the bodywork. The interior is original and in good condition, a new radio has been fitted but I have the original available. The soft top is in good condition, I think possibly the original, nevertheless it keeps the rain out.

Additional works completed are 123 ignition, new clutch slave cylinder, new clutch, new rubber bonnet seal.

The mileage showing is just over 40, 129 and the car has done approximately 2, 000 mile since the engine rebuild and drives beautifully, like the day it left the production line. The only change from the series 1 on this car is the headlights, everything else is series 1, which I think is fabulous. The car drives just as it should with loads of low down torque.
