Description
This is my 1968 350 SS Manual 4 speed Chevrolet Camaro. I love this car and have enjoyed owning it every minute of the journey. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to use it recently and won’t be in the foreseeable future, due to a change in job and moving to a place where I can no longer store it. Therefore I am reluctantly putting it up for sale.
I imported the car from South Carolina several years ago as I wanted a rust free car which had been looked after properly. This car has had a full respray and lots of maintenance to keep it looking fresh and ready to hit the road any day. The odometer reads around 3400 miles and the previous owner told me he reset it after overhauling the car.
Of course the car comes with completely original parts. The engine gearbox and diff are all the originals. The car features ‘power’ disc brakes which were not fitted to every car back then. Of course that is the original system.
The bodywork is in great condition, there are a few minor blemishes in the paintwork but on the whole the car is stunning. Engine runs very smooth and pulls nicely.
I had a few things checked and replaced when I imported the car. I had the gearbox stripped and rebuilt, track rods replaced and other small jobs.
