UK original with Jaguar Heritage Certificate, numbers correct.
I bought this car last year to discover it needs a lot of work which is now done. Health issues have sadly forced the sale.
Mechanically it is now in superb condition
It has had:- New brakes, discs, pads and hoses all round. New servo/ master cylinder. New sump. 5 new tyres Dunlop SP Sports. New rear suspension/ shock absorbers. New Front shock Absorbers. Halogen headlight conversion. New fuel pump. New water pump with hoses etc. New uprated cooling fans. New battery. Cam cover gaskets replaced. New winged spinners. New inertia seatbelts. New carpets. And that is not all!!
All the work was done by Graham Birks of Birks motor works, Jaguar specialist in Thame, Oxfordshire. He assures me that this car is in excellent mechanical condition.
I bought it with little history as it appears to have been 'lost', so I asked Graham to go through the entire car and fix whatever was wrong, which he has done.
I believe the milage to be correct as the interior and seats were in reasonable condition. I have since polished the leather and replaced the carpets. This car is not perfect, but has a nice patina for a 54 year old car. It was painted some years ago and from the Jaguar Heritage Certificate it left the factory in Willow green, it is now a bespoke dark green.
It drives beautifully with lots of power, and sounds brilliant.

The price I am asking does not cover all the expenses I have had, but I think represents good value for a functional roadworthy E Type.
