Here is my Mgb roadster 1800 4 speed manual with overdrive on 3rd and 4th gear. not a concourse car but very very good. I've owned thecar for about 5 years and loved it.
During the first year I had various jobs done, I replaced the rear lever arm shocks and leaf springs. I had the engine removed and the rear main oil seal replaced, while the gearbox was off I had a full good quality clutch kit fitted. It's now oil tight and has only required regular servicing and maintenance since. The previous owner had a stiffer front anti roll bar fiited and a brand new Webber carb. I have the original su carburetors in a box if you wish to go back to original.
It runs and drives very well, something a reputable classic car restorer commented on when he drove it. It can comfortably hold pace with modern traffic and with the use of the overdrive cruises without effort at motorway speeds. Milage reads 39000 but as it's 50+ years old it could be anything.
