Citroen Xantia 1. 8 with around 60348 miles. There are a few age related marks but the paint is very good for a red car. It has a grey cloth interior. It has been stored in the garage for the last 5 years as I bought a new car. The last MOT was done in 2021 and once an off side bulb was replaced it passed with flying colours. I have not bothered to get an MOT every year but at that time I had to organise a vehicle to transport it to and from the garage as I had no insurance nor Road tax.
It is a nice clean car but may have a couple of scratches which are superficial and nothing major.
It has been looked after and I would like to think that the new owner will continue to look after it.
I had a couple of views but the last one ‘‘twas a litter disappointingly in that the person though5 that the tapping sound from the engine might require a complete engine rebuild. I checked with a local mechanic who thought the problem was the fact that the car had been garaged for 5+ years without having a good run out. He recommended that I run the engine for a bit to see if the problem is resolved. I thought I should let you know what was ‘found’. The car stands out mainly because of its colour. A number of years ago I was stopped and asked why the car was in such good nick. My reply,’ I love the car and it’s my pride and joy’. I would be still driving it but old age has caught up with me and it was time to get something more suited for me.
