1969 Morris Mini Cooper Mark 2, 1000cc, in red with white roof.
Only just over 67, 000 miles in 55 years so averaging only 100 miles per month.
The car has retained all original features such as sliding front window openings, central instrument binnacle with only speedo, temp and oil pressure gauges etc.
It is also MoT and tax exempt (free road tax).
During my ownership over 28 months, the car has been subject of approximately £6, 500 spend, particularly targeted at the mechanical functioning of the car. This included:

The exterior paint is showing signs of age but I have left untouched as it adds to the character of the car.
Would describe it as a good, honest, classic mini that could be used as-is or taken to the next level with things like a re-spray.
The car is kept in an underground car park in north Edinburgh and can be viewed there. Driving the car cannot help but bring a smile to your face and whilst going around central Edinburgh, it never fails to have people reaching for the phones/ cameras to take pictures.
I have christened her Claudette and it is fair to say she is a joy to own and drive.
It is only being sold as I have another classic car and am losing one of my parking spaces.
