Original shell completely rebuilt in 1993 by my father and myself , with MGB Hive panels. Original alloy bonnet. Underneath and all sill internal structures regularly waxoyled. No rust.
5brg gold seal engine, gearbox and overdrive fitted at the time.
Competition 41844a distributor. S/ s tubular manifold and exhaust system. Free flow K&N filters. Su carbs. Kenlowe fan.
Seats rebuilt in leather with red piping, door cards, new carpets. Dash crackle finish painted.
Uprated shock absorbers , competition front springs and 3/ 4 " anti roll bar, standard rear springs (MGs corner better with soft rear setup).
Recent clutch and brake masters, front performance discs and pads.
New wire wheels and hubs fitted around 10 years ago.
Recent hood and frame.
Tonneau cover.
Inertia reel belts.
Bodywork is not mint but is extremely smart, no rust.
Nice paint finish.
30 years in my Dad's care, this is a very well sorted drivers car, it makes lovely noises and is considerably faster than a standard B.
The engine is crisp and Keen to rev. Very good on fuel, 35 mpg plus touring.
82000 on the clock, but I think it had around 60000 when he restored it.
Mots show its done less than 4000 in the last 20 years.
It was used for a Sunday trip out occasionally, on good days. Rarely has it seen rain.
Dad's passed on a few years back and it's time for some else to enjoy this great machine.
