This Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI Tommi Makinen is a presentable and usable example of the lauded rally-bred icon.
It is powered by the famed 2. 0-litre turbocharged 4G63 inline-four engine, which, in standard form, sends 272hp and 373Nm of torque to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
This example has been mildly modified with an uprated intercooler, radiator, HKS dump valve, Evo 9 turbocharger, and performance exhaust.

EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES
First produced in 1999, the Lancer Evolution VI Tommi Mäkinen Edition commemorated the Finnish rally driver’s fourth consecutive WRC Drivers Championship win. The limited-production model features a number of factory upgrades including a redesigned bodykit, upgraded dampers with 10mm lower suspension, a helical front limited-slip differential, a faster-spooling titanium turbocharger, a front strut brace, and an upgraded exhaust system.
The Lancer Evo VI was originally black but now presents smartly in Passion Red with the Tommi Makinen Edition white, black and grey side stripes. The interior features Recaro seats with black Alcantara bolsters, red patterned cloth centres, and ‘T. Makinen Edition’ embroidered script.
It rides on 17-inch 10-spoke Enkei alloy wheels in white, housing red Brembo callipers, and fitted with Yokohama Advan Neova tyres.
Equipment includes a leather-trimmed Momo airbag steering wheel, air conditioning, a heated rear screen, a Kenwood CD radio, electric windows, and Recaro reclining bucket seats.
This example has been mildly modified with an uprated intercooler, radiator, HKS dump valve, Evo 9 turbocharger, a performance exhaust, and Öhlins MIS MI01 adjustable coilover suspension.

SERVICE HISTORY
The last maintenance was a service at 118, 600 Km by L Kirkos Car Service. This included an engine oil change, an air conditioning service and the fitment of the following new parts: Öhlins coilovers, spark plugs, brake pads, air and oil filters, water pump, timing belt and auxiliary belts.
The car was fitted with a new catalytic converter in 2021.
In 2019 it was fitted with various new sensors and had the tracking adjusted.
