Here for sale is an imported BSA 650 probably started life as a Lightning but has a single carb cylinder head, these are much easier to set up and I think run much better. UK registered as a Historic Vehicle so no tax or mot applicable with V5 in my name.
Runs well, all lights and hooter work, new front tyre, battery, speedo drive, speedo cable and speedo. All cables are very good. Bikes mileage is unknown as original speedo missing.
Front rim chrome is poor but rear is better. All gears and clutch are fine and drives on road well, this bike is a really easy starter usually first or second kick. Ideal bike to ride and restore at a later date. Parts are easily available. Any questions please ask. Bike is located on Cornwall/ Devon border. An Imported Bsa from America about 2years ago. Engine checked over, sludge tube removed and cleaned out, oil tank cleaned and flushed out. Crank ground new big end shells fitted and new genuine Alfa main bearing bush fitted and aligned. New rings fitted.
