Here is a fully documented / pictured restored roadster
A rare 1950 production car one of around 500 of which only c 150 survive today in various states of repair
This car was previously owned and restored by the Sangster family (well known as the test driver for Riley in the 40, s / 50, s )
This family commissioned the full body off restoration including the Ash frame by well known coach builder in early 2000
This restoration also included an engine rebuild and a new hood
The car then passed to my ownership and i carried on with the meticulous care by maintaining and improving its condition to near perfection
the work i have carried out is as follows
Stainless exhaust system including a new manifold
Period door and boot handles
New rear badge plinth in cast brass
Period Butler lamps
Period Cats eye headlamps
New rear leaf springs , Dampers, drop links and torsion bar
New jacking rubbers
Complete braking system restoration including master cylinder piston and seals , front brake cylinders stainless sleeved with stainless pistons, new pipe work
Hand brake serviced and linkages restored
5 Michelin x radials
