Presented in red with a white roof and burgundy interior, our model has a sporty look with its long spans, stickers and the addition of safety harnesses in the passenger compartment. This MK1 is equipped with the original 998cc 4-cylinder engine, the numbers of which have been checked. It has 2 SU HS2 carburettors and develops 56bhp, all mated to a four-speed manual gearbox. It also has Hydrolastic suspension, developed by Alex Moulton. A host of accessories and options have been added to this bombshell, including Minilites-style aluminium wheels, SPARCO sports seats with three-point safety harness, LCB manifold, stainless steel exhaust, long spans with caps, stainless steel bumpers and chrome mirrors. Thanks to the extensive file we have, we have been able to trace the car's history and note that it has only had three owners since 2002.
