Mercedes-Benz SL500 in Brilliant Silver with grey leather interior. 2 former keepers. Owned for 3 years selling to downsizing my collection. Always garaged while in my ownership and driven sparingly only on dry days. Facelift model with the M119 V8 and 5 speed transmission.
Usual Mercedes refinements including electric memory seats, climate control, cruise control, dual airbags, alarm and immobiliser. The staggered 18" AMG alloys are in excellent condition. The upgraded ice unit has a flip screen Sat Nav. Recently serviced when rear pads and discs were also replaced together with new rear brake lines and brake hoses. Drive belt and two coil packs have also been changed. The MOT is not due until June'25.
The bodywork is in excellent condition for a 27 year old car and without the dreaded corrosion bug. There are however some marks which are commensurate with the age of the car. The delivery from the ultra smooth 5ltr engine is muscular and smooth providing a dramatic and exhilarating drive. There are 2 original keys. Private registration to be included in the sale. Only serious enquiries. It is unquestionably one of the best iterations of the SL model range. The car drives exceptionally well with enormous amounts of power and road presence.
