FOR SALE . . . 1949 Rover 75 p3
Here we have a 1949 Rover 75 p3 which was purchased in 2019 as a restoration project. Then with covid, the situation changed and it turned into a rolling restoration with 80% of the work complete and all the materials available to complete it. It starts on the ball, runs a dream and with the 6 cylinder engine will happily keep up with today's modern traffic. All that is required to finish this project is the roof lining and some of the interior.
It has had a complete re-spray, new tyres and has been daily used even in bad weather. On another note, the paintwork although stripped to the bare metal needs a bit of attention and due to my age and health, I have to look realistically and think that it will never get completed by me.
I would never expect to get back what has been spent on this car, but I realistically think that £4000 is not to much to ask. Viewing and test drive is welcomed. It was bought as a project to work on during COVID and it's rarity makes it very unique. My favourite thing about this classic, is that the Land rover was developed from this car.
