In current ownership for 22 years. Initially in South London, then brought down to Sussex. Enjoyed and gently used (very little off-roading), including for some weddings and a little film work. Well cared for and maintained in roadworthy condition. MOT when necessary. Never was totally original, i. e. lights are series 2, bodywork has been repainted. Currently has new wiring loom, new tyres, including spare, chassis in excellent condition. Sweet running engine, with new original pattern carburetter, steel head gasket and superb block repair, new valves where necessary. Fuel tank, and exhaust system replaced. Fuel guage/ amps dial new (original stock item). This vehicle is a thoroughly good example of a well loved British icon that is nearly 60 years old. Obviously cared for and not needing a 'nut and bolt' restoration. I am not a 'classic fanatic' but have very much enjoyed using, and looking after, this lovely motor car - with two generations of family encouragement!
