When it's a May 2001 built MINI registered in November 2001.
These early R50s have become very collectable in recent years. And this one benefits from low mileage, 12 months MOT and a new exhaust - ready for summer driving fun!
I purchased the car from a MINI enthusiast in Autumn 2020, and during my ownership (and 1000 miles of use), I have spent over £2, 000 on maintenance (new exhaust, front suspension, gearbox service, battery, oil services etc). Throughout my ownership the car has always been stored in a dry garage and only used on dry summer days.
The car is the more desirable Cooper with the rare all-red interior. It drives spot on, and the clutch and gearbox operate like a new car. And even better, there's no warning lights or suspension moans & groans. The air conditioning is ice cold and everything works as it did when it left the factory, including the electric windows, remote central locking and audio system. Even the headlining is still firmly attached, and has not become baggy like most do.
Only downsides really are that the alloy wheels could do with a refurb at some point, the paint is flat on the boot lid, and there's a couple of marks here and there on the paintwork.
I'm only selling the car due to a house move, where I won't have the garage space to keep the car dry any more.
