2001 Peugeot 306 Cabriolet for Sale with Hard Top
Unfortunately the time has come to sell my 306 Cabriolet after almost nine years of ownership. At the moment I am immensely busy on my Series 2 Land Rovers so there is very little time to spend on preparing the Peugeot or this listing. Therefore, if you’re interested come and see it and we can come to an arrangement. I’m starting at £1, 500 but open to offers.
I am looking for someone who appreciates the Pinin Farina bodywork of these cars which I consider makes them very attractive. They are becoming fewer and this one really deserves a bit of a freshen up which sadly I don’t have the time to do among the other vehicles. This one is ULEZ compliant but the right person will buy it because they want a 306 cabriolet not a cheap ULEZ compliant runaround.
It has always been mechanically very reliable and the body is free of any corrosion. I MOT it myself every year. I have recently renewed the MOT and it is valid till early August 2025.
The right new owner should be unafraid of regular maintenance and getting involved with 90s electrics. There is lots of scope for improvements, including getting the speedometer working again, recabling the driver’s door window regulator, and recommissioning the air conditioning.
Please don’t ask about the condition of the canvas. I’ve had the hard top on for several years. A year or two before I put the hard top on I topped up the water proofing on the canvas. The photo was taken at that time. If you come and view we can remove the hard top and you can inspect.
To anticipate the most commonly asked question, no I will not sell the hard top separately. I would like it to stay with the car.
