A rare car with only 2000 made. This is VIN number 2206 of 2233 so one of the last made.
Reimported from Japan with 36, 000km recorded plus 14000 UK miles, about 36, 000 miles total.

I bought this car off the original UK owner in 2013, I rebuilt and upgraded it using many new components. Some of the work done includes:
• Retrimmed with a new hood fitted by Coventry Hood & Tonneau. Leather seats, new carpets and door cards etc. Cost over £4000...
Upgrades include:
• Electric windows
• Electric door mirrors
• Central locking
• Heated seats
• Private MGR registration, which is included in the sale
I have made some permitted modifications to make it more responsive and handle better at a cost of over £3000, these include:
• Aircon removed
• Polybushes all round
• Gaz adjustable shockers
• New brake calipers and discs, Yellow stuff pads
• Custom made large bore stainless exhaust with high efficiency cats
• Uprated cooling fan with additional manual control
• Oil cooler
• Cold air intake
• ECU Remap and rolling road setup... plus other things I can't remember!
The car now makes 210bhp (compared with about 180bhp ex-factory) with much better mid-range torque and throttle response
There are lots of other modifications, the car is not standard and is not concours, but it is in very good structural and mechanical condition. It is better to drive now than when it left MG, the small downside is that the paintwork has some blemishes and the car has hardly been used for the last couple of years.
Additional wheels, tyres and spares available by negotiation. Delivery possible. In 2017 I used this car to win the MG Car Club National Speed Championship, but I have a different competition car now and this one is just not getting used.
