Alvis TA21 Saloon. CNH 795. First registered 11 December 1951. 2993 cc engine. Coachwork by Mulliner. Factory fitted metal sunshine roof. This rare, elegant, saloon has been upgraded with an Alvis TE 21, 130 bhp engine, TE 21 rear axle, 5-speed ZF gearbox, front servo assisted disc brakes, full-length stainless-steel exhaust, electric fan, electronic ignition and fuel pump, together with a new heavy-duty battery. Recent engine work includes cylinder head skim, new valve seats and guides, new head and exhaust manifold gaskets, timing chain and tensioner. The thermostat housing and castings have also been replaced recently. The radiator was re-cored and all water channels were cleared in 2023. Front and rear shock absorbers and brake master cylinder were replaced recently In 2024, the car received the Red Triangle 70-point annual service and inspection including Crypton Diagnostic report and brake efficiency test. The car has an MOT certificate valid to 24. 06. 2025, has been professionally maintained, is an excellent runner and must be seen.
