1991 Leyland Olympian - Gardner 6LXB Engine, ZF Automatic Gearbox
This bus started life with Stagecoach in the North West before passing to an independent operator in Chesterfield. I purchased it in 2017 and began a conversion from bus to mobile bar. It proved hugely successful and popular through a wide variety of events from birthdays and weddings and even catering for a reasonably large local vintage rally. A 6 by 9 meter awning is included (pictures showing this) plus seating for customers upstairs.
This comes fully fitted out and ready to go straight to work as a bar or a great basis for a different conversion. There is 240V electrics, 2 fridges, a freezer and a coffee machine. There is also a large beer cooler included which is more than enough to run the 4 lines constantly.
The vehicle itself runs and drives without issue but it is showing its age in places, there are perished bushes underneath and surface rust to suspension component and the chassis. The engine is in great order and fired on the first attempt every time, the box goes through the gears fine also. The selector can be temperamental at times.
It has been off the road for a couple of years but passed an MOT in late June 2024. I have the V5c in my name.
