Audi B6 S4 Avant, 4. 2 V8 manual in Dolphin grey metallic, electric and heated ivory leather Recaro interior, carbon pack, Bose, Audi Navigation Plus, 130k miles, HPI clear. Full service history, timing chains were changed professionally at 113k miles with invoice as proof, this is an engine out job on these cars so it’s a vital piece of maintenance given the vehicles age. The magnificent Audi V8 engine is coupled to a manual gearbox so, there’s absolutely no expensive DSG worries and, it’s the ultimate drivers car.
During my 4 year ownership, I’ve changed the rear springs and dampers, along with the rear brake discs and pads, these were all changed very soon after my ownership commenced, they’ve covered approximately 4000 miles so shouldn’t need any additional attention for some time. I also upgraded the snub mount with poly bushings. Another significantly expensive purchase was a full cat back stainless exhaust system designed, provided and fitted by Tony Banks in Leeds, the exhaust isn’t too loud but unlocks the soulful burble you’d expect from the V8 engine. The car has also had 4 brand new Goodyear Eagle F1 sport premium tyres.
As you can no doubt tell, this car has been enthusiastically owned throughout it’s ownership with me and, this is reflected in the cars history with its previous owners as well who all cherished this car at considerable expense. The ownership history is easily traceable and can found just by doing a quick Google search of the registration number (VF03MRV) which shows the condition over the years with the various forums the car has featured on.
The only reason I’m selling this wonderful car is because I just don’t use it as much as it deserves, it’s averaged 1100 miles per year during my ownership and, it should be out being enjoyed.
12 months MOT, 1 advisory, oil leak but not excessive. I’ve replaced rocker gaskets with genuine Audi parts but not had engine cleaned or tried to cover anything up.
Only known issue I’m aware of is headliner has sagged which is common on all VAG cars of this era and really wouldn’t cost much to repair but, it’s not serious enough to warrant me doing the job currently. The rear bumper has received a brush in a car park on the drivers side, it’s really not horrendous but worth mentioning for full clarity. The air conditioning would benefit from a re gas.
This is a 21 year old car in good condition but, as with all older vehicles, the condition is commensurate with age but, the pictures do show this and, in this colour combination this is one of the nicest S4 Avant’s available for sale of this vintage.

This is a very reluctant sale and, due to the rare nature of this the asking price is more than fair based on the condition and history that comes with the vehicle. I’m also in absolutely no rush to sell this appreciating car. Documented services supported by invoices or paperwork. Mixture of early service history from Audi main agents and Audi specialists. Most recently the S4 is serviced by myself using OEM or genuine parts.
