Absolutely fantastic example of a modern classic, I am the current owner, it was purchased from an elderly man who didn’t drive it for over 6 years due to repairs and ill health.
Car was purchased as a non-runner, a new fuel pump and a battery later it was once again alive, major service has been carried out, oil, filters (oil, air, cabin) all fluids dip sampled and health checked, new Aux belt, new pads and discs all around, new tyres. (I have receipts)
Some light body work was completed, new scuff strip on the front bumper was sourced and painted, new drivers wing mirror glass.
Paint work has had a professional paint correction and ceramic coating, looks absolutely amazing.
Interior is in perfect condition seats and carpets were professionally cleaned with a wet vac, no rips or tears.
Car has recently took me down to Portsmouth and drove flawlessly, engine is smooth no problems at all, uses a timing chain so no belt change needed, chain tensioners are good to 100k+
Underneath is very clean, small amount of surface rust on metal parts nothing to be concerned of sills and arches are solid, far better condition than my actual daily car, note this is becoming rare of these cars most have got more holes than Swiss cheese in them. I’m happy to get underside pics for serious buyers.
Bad bits
Small amount of lacquer peel on the roof rails (see pic), couple of car park dents (small easily fixed by a PDR man), wheels could do with a refurb.
Honestly this car is impeccable for its age, I bought it as a project to sell then I planned on keeping it after falling for her, but unfortunately Khan got re-elected and as she’s non ulez so she’s got to go.
Comes with 1 key and the backup manual key, V5, vehicle history check to prove no write offs, original owner’s manual and COC certificate, service history book, original Mercedes pen tooIt pains me to have to sell this car based on a politician and his polices, for me it was a perfect glimpse into the past, old enough to remind you of simpler times new enough that you still got all the creature comforts.
