I am the 2nd owner having purchased it in 1988 and have treasured it ever since, the car hasn't seen a raindrop since 1999 confined to coming out in dry weather. I have a vehicle lift so the underside can be viewed. The car never wanted for anything if it needed doing it was done nothing major just general stuff as required, the work carried out by Mercedes in Maidstone till 2000 and my local garage thereafter. The car is rust free but the bonnet and side have been resprayed being necessary after someone called C--T carving their name thought it a clever thing to do. Other than that it's in excellent condition, everything works as it should. Things that have been renewed in recent years. New tyres, wheels refurbished, New rear screen, New Grill, New headlamps, New rear chrome badging, door seals, headlining, blue tooth radio ( original comes with the car) Lanoguard rust prevention underside, New engine belting, New brake Attenuators, Full MOT. Widely accepted as one car Mercedes ever made is without doubt the exact truth a real classic with values continuing to rise and the age closing in on 40 years will be MOT and ULEZ free in 18 months
